This plane is based on the image of the Cadastre´s Website of the Ministry of Agriculture. Although apparently the Garden seems flat, in fact is in the skirt of a mountain with enough slope. The terraces were constructed several centuries ago raising walls with abundant stones of the mountain and accumulating in them the little retained stony earth between rocks.

The Garden to view of bird.

The photo is done from a small hill that is to the other side of the valley. The Garden is below the gray olive trees that occupy the average part of the hill of the left and their inferior limit is the two houses with their respective orchards that extend towards the right. To the left it limits with a staggered mountain road, that runs between the houses. In order to arrive at the entrance of the Garden it is necessary to raise 70 steps of mountain stair. It is oriented toward 266º (West), with the bottom at 75 m.a.s.l. and the top 90 m.a.s.l. The dark green cypress that grows as an arrow in the center of the image is in the superior terrace. To the right of the image is seen the portion of mountain very raised with a great wealth of native and endemic vegetal species. In the low part of this portion grows a small forest of Ailanthus altissima of about 50 years, in which 60 years ago it was an olive grove.

This photo, done with Zoom lens since the opposed hill to the Garden, shows in the center the highest mundani tree of the Garden of about 24 meters of height and 27 years of age, that stands out with its clear green color on the gray of the olive trees, that mark the superior limit of the Garden. To the right of mundani tree a young oak Quercus cerrioides 23 years old is seen. Two terraces more down, in front of mundani tree, another oak Quercus faginea, 31 years old is seen. To the left of the image, hidden behind the great top of a Brachychiton populneum, the small tools house can be seen.

And finally, in this image also done with Zoom lens, is seen the portion of Mediterranean mountain, oriented toward 343º (North – Northwest), with the bottom at 74 m.a.s.l. and the top 120 m.a.s.l. It is covered by one thick vegetation with mediterranean pines, evergreen oaks, wild olive trees, Rhamnus alaternus, Pistacia lentiscus, Ampelodesmos mauritanica, Erica multiflora, brambles, Smilax aspera, Asparagus acutifolius and Asparagus albus, Lonicera implexa, Myrtus communis, Urginea maritima, Viola alba ssp. dehnhartii, Ophrys fusca, Ophrys speculum, Spiranthes spiralis,  Cheilanthes acrostica, Asplenium fontanum, Asplenium azomanes,  Asplenium majoricum, Ceterach officinarum, Polypodium cambricum, Asplenium trichomanes, Osiris alba, Leontodon taraxacoides, Bellis silvestris, Rubia peregrina, Clematis flammula, Arum italicum, Arisarum vulgare, Agrimonia eupatoria, Galium setaceum, some carob tree, several fig trees and the endemic Sibthorpia africana, Ophrys balearica, Crocus cambessedesii, Cyclamen balearicum, Carex rorulenta and Micromeria filiformis, etc...
